23 Sep 2013 (11:01 PM) - Week 3 Recap The Chiefs, while not perfect, are perfect! And after the utter dismantling of the Giants by the Panthers, I'm feeling good for the game this weekend. To which I'm going.

It's. Gonna. Be. Awesome.

(I hope)

Weekly Winners

And now that the Broncos embarrassed the Raiders, jwiscarson takes week 3 with a 13-3 record. Close behind him are toskde177 and Hpaolini.

Speaking of toskde177, he maintains his overall lead with a 38-10 (...how?) record. Closest to him is jwiscarson at four games back.

Underdog Victories

While there were several underdog victories this week, there was none more surprising than j.plucinik picking the Browns to upset the Vikings. Seriously? The Browns? Are you just a big Brian Hoyer fan, or did you consult your crystal ball?

Upcoming Site Changes

I made a small change to the Pick 'Em page: you can now hover or click the info icon to view the details about a game. You can change this in your user settings.
Also in your user settings, you can now (well, again) change your displayed username.
I'm working on getting the XML feed up so I don't have to manually update the games. With this change, maybe the games will update before five hours after the game when I feel like not being lazy :)

Week 4 Reminder

Upcoming game on Thursday features the 49ers at Rams. Would have called this an easy game at the beginning of the season, but now? I dunno.
PROTIP: It's still a pretty easy pick :)
17 Sep 2013 (10:51 PM) - Site Changes I made some changes to the look and feel of the Pick 'Em page. Let me know what you think.

Games That Haven't Started

Instead of showing all the information about the matchup all at once, I've hidden most of it behind the info-icon. This should clean up the look of the page on-load.
Speaking of info-icon, click on that to show the visual percentage breakdown of the picks, overall and home/away records, and last week's results for each team.
You still pick your team using the double-arrow, and team you've chosen is highlighted in yellow.

Games That Have Started

Ongoing games hide the option to change your pick (if you picked, it's shown in yellow like before), and shows the Pick 'Em percentage breakdown. Everything else is still behind the info-icon.
Newly added: who picked (finally).

Games That Have Ended

Finished games add the final score, and your pick (if made) changes to green if you picked correctly and red if you didn't.
Also, note that the Chiefs won. Hooray!
